Asus Z97 ROG Motherboards

Asus have set up the webpages for the ROG motherboards on there website.

MAXIMUS VII HERO

MAXIMUS VII RANGER

MAXIMUS VII GENE

The specifications look good and all come with the new M.2 slot but no SATA Express.

They all look good and the new Ranger series is interesting but my favorite is the Hero.

Forgot to mention the Hero and Gene come with a Door Hanger and the Ranger does not.

Have found no firm Pricing but it is expected the Gene and Hero will retail for roughly the same Price as the Z87 versions.

Rumor has the Ranger at around £130.

Found the Hero listed on NICX Canada, http://www.ncix.com/detail/asus-maximus-vii-hero-atx-5c-97029.htm, rough cost in GBP is £150.

No ROG ITX boards just yet just the Z97I Plus.

There will probably be a Maximus VII Impact out and it may be listed in the official release next week or Asus plan a release later in the year.

I believe that the Asus line up for the Z97 will probably increase in size come the 11th May, given the large line up being offered by Gigabyte and the increasing size of MSI's, know listing the XPower boards and UD45 and UD65 versions of there gaming boards.

I think that the full range will not be revealed until then all we can do is wait
