Asus Zenbook Prime review - first test of IB ULV!

Thanks, looks nice and they finally fixed all the flaws with it. May take another look at them when they release the UX32 13" model with a dedicated graphics card.

I am holding out for the ux32-vd as well!

13" with ips screen and a decent* gfx card in a small and light package. I just hope it isnt hot and noisy as hell when gaming.

*well decent for a ultrabook, should be equivalent to a current 540m

The Trinity thin and light laptops will have a better IGP with a worse CPU. OTH,this should still mean they will run games better,as the IB ULV Core i7 have more of a downclocked GPU AFAIK than the lower TDP A10 laptops.

That looks very nice!

Not sure if I can really justify trading in my Air for it though, the higher resolution screen and performance boost won't really give any benefit to me, especially as they STILL HAVE 4GB OF RAM MAX!? Just why?!:(

Nice to se both Asus and Samsung really pushing the Ultrabook concept, along with Apple, rather than certain other companies doing the bare minimum to get the tag.

It seems looking at the Anandtech reviews, the Asus has the most colour accurate display in a laptop ATM,and the RD MBP only has a 16% advantage in pixel density.
