Anyone else think these look amazing? I was seriously considering the MB Air. However after seeing how this destroys it in virtually every test. I think I could be persuaded. I'm also a Windows fan at heart. However I could have of course lived with Mac OSX Lion.

So... Anyone else see any major downfalls with it? I can't seem to see any at all. Except the price, although compared to an air... it's the same.

It does look really good but yeah looks expensive!!! the Acer one looks like it will be cheaper than a Macbook Air but the review I've seen showed that the Macbook was a lot more powerful (benchmarks)

Well the Acer in Dollars seems to be $900, and Engadget mention this is the cheapest, they don't mention Asus pricing though.

The UX21 is available at £849 on a few sites.

Thats decent, I'm not sure if the $899 will do the usual straight conversion into £899 or if it will be priced lower.

Acer is a cheapo budget brand though who have never been able to make a quality laptop. They are notorious for blowing up and frying. I see far to many of them. Asus on the other hand are a quality manufacturer and are well known for good quality high end parts.

£849 for the Zenbook is the exact same as the budget Air from Apple. Of course you pay a little over the odds for the Apple, but that's to be expected. I love the shape and style. It's the weird gold look that puts me off. Not a lot of photos of it just yet.
