At first I was like Xperia Arc...

Winner S2.

That's what I've preordered. The past 4 HTC handsets I've owned all promised so much pre-launch and all failed with poor cameras, loudspeakers and poor build quality as was the case with the HTC Desire HD and HD7.

My current phone is a Nexus S and having tried SAMOLED I won't be going back to LCD or SLCD just yet.

I'm slightly tempted by the heavier, thicker, aluminium Sensation.

A powerful smart phone, IMO, shouldn't feel light and plasticy. Need to feel like I'm holding a raw dripping powerhouse piece of kit!

That and the higher res screen has me leaning toward the Sensation. But my mind is still open.

Both are good phones, Sense seems far better than TouchWiz, the weight and unibody is a plus I love the way my DHD feels in hand feels sturdy but very disappointed by its speakers in very noisy conditions its difficult to hear even with full volume! Seems to be common on HTC phones.

Galaxy S 2 comes with a Wolfson DAC so should be good for audio, the 1080p recodings it produce seem very good from the inital previews, both are very capable of running Android but I guess it'll come down personal preferences.

For me I'll be ditching HTC in favour of the Samsung as it just seems a better package overall.
