At what point would you stop upgrading?

when i don't feel like it anymore :p. though i'm happy with no slowdowns (20+ FPS) at max settings for my res, i use Vsync, so i'm aiming for 60FPS at max now...

staying around forums like these has given me upgrade fever: i was happy with an X600XT + 3400+ till i got a 3870 and E2160... now i want more and more :P

im upgrading this time as my sister wants a better pc, so im giving her most of mine and getting new stuff for myself, so the answer is when i either cant afford it or if i have no one to pass my current stuff onto (i do not to sell my old stuff by the way, as it means i can always have the stuff in reserve if my main stuff dies.)

2900XT to 4870 is what i have planned

Normally for me ever 6 months just out of habit, but I aint had the time to mess around with the PC lately so I think my 8800 GT will stay for a long time yet
