Hey guys, been posting a lot recently in the Monitors section. I've finally come down to 2 options and hoping to see one or both tomorrow in person.

Here are the two options:

Dell
Asus

This decision is probably the hardest in a while. Eyefinity is something that didnt go well for me as the extra monitors distracted me in games, i also couldnt record footage etc without having problems. So here are two options, I mainly play games such as RTS's, (MMO)RPG's and FPS's among others and other time is spent video editing, coding or general browsing.

I'm looking for a monitor that will immerse me similar to the way eyefinity does. Thanks for reading.

I think the Dell is the better option for your needs, the 2560x1440 resolution will make the 27" seem a lot bigger, meaning you will be able to fit more onto the screen.

Also, if you wanted to use the 3d side of the Asus, you would have to change GFX cards* as it is designed for Nvidia 3d vision.

*Not totally sure on this, regardless, AMD's attempt at 3d really isn't up to scratch compared to the competition

ive not even tried 3d with the samsung yet, to be honest im not that botherd, i know it can do 3d with my 7970 but i was more intrested in 120hz gaming, i will give it a go one day im sure.

Today I went to the big purple store and was looking at the Apple Thunderbolt, the resolution and colours were gorgeous, sadly they dont stock 3D/120Hz monitors.

The Hazro's use the same panel as the Apple Cinema display and are also led backlit and glossy. They no longer come with a glass front but that doesn't add anything to the picture quality anyways.
They're half the price of the Apple cinema displays - With the price difference you can buy both a Samsung s27a750d and Hazro HZ27WC.

Can't afford the both ;). I wish I could but honestly come to think of it I would rarely use 3D to its full potential as I mainly play Multiplayer so 3D would be distracting to say the least. Might wait and see if Dell release a new 27inch monitor.
