ATCS840 Question

Hi guys if any of you have seen my project log you will know im having a problem fitting a fan to the bottom of the case. Ive tried fitting the fan with the fan screws that came with the fan but they go straight through the holes and CM havent included any with the case to fit a fan there. Ive even tried contacting CM and had zero responce from them which is rather disappointing for such a big company. Has anyone any suggestions please really want to get my fan fitted to the bottom of my case.

It has to fit mate, just screw the fan from the bottom of your case and it will fit.

Use some sticky rubber pads?

The screws go straight through the holes which seems a bit stupid to make them so big if you ask me.

Hmmm velcro pads might work could be onto something Liam thanks

Then how does it hold on to the case lol

Screw in the screws through the bottom of the case, then into the fan. The screwheads should then hold in place, unless the screw holes are extremely big.

They are too big m8 they pop through when you tighten. Tom who did the mods has some Lian Li screws which have bigger heads which hopefully will sort it.

I have atcs 840 and there was no problem with standard fan screws at all.

On mine there is m8 they just pop through the holes no idea why but they do
