Aten 2 Port USB Dual View KVM Switch with Audio question

been searching these forums.

I have 2 pcs that i want to run, with both running dual dvi monitors. I have logitech G15 and mx518 usb peripherals, and also a 5.1 surround card in on the pcs. Neither pc will be running at the same time (mine and g/f)

I've been looking at the:

anyone got one these and do you rate? it seems an expensive hi tech solution to a posibly low- tech issue, of simply changing the leads each time.

I was looking for a DVI switch the other day, the majority seem to be VGA.

From what I found DVI ones tend to be a lot more expensive.

ive been looking for a dvi kvm too but gave up and went with vga.

i noticed there were quite a few aten ones on a well known auction site.

if your willing to wait a while, belkin should be releasing their new kvm dekstop (or was it soho) series soon

i totally forgot about belkin's switch2. have a look at that, might just suit your needs.
