Athens Login

Hi, this may be asking for too much, but is there any chance I can borrow a student's Athens login until Tuesday?

Warwick's Athens works by logging in via a Warwick webpage, but our network is down and will not be fixed until Tuesday. I need to hand in an essay on Tuesday morning and I cannot do this without access to journals

can you not access athens from the main MyAthens login page?

No because we don't have individual Athens logins... we have to click on Alternative Login and select University of Warwick, which takes us to one of the warwick.ac.uk pages, which is where the problem lies (this is down at the moment)

Careful you don't both atempt to use it simulatenously. The T&Cs are quite strict regarding our Athens accounts and sharing :S

you should get an extension if you cant get on athens due to university technical issues, its classed as a Technical Extenuating Circumstance.

The problem is that my essay is already 6 days late... so unfortunately no extension for me

Luckily though, I only lose 3% per university working day (the joys of Masters - the undergraduates lose 5% for every day) so I will have only lost 15% when I hand it in on Tuesday

I don't use MSNM normally, so wouldn't log in as a matter of course
