Going to Athens later in the year, any advice or pointers on things to do/see/eat/drink etc etc most welcome!

Saying for 3 nights as a group of 8.

You're right, you've got far more experience posting here than I do.

Thanks for all the replies, but we are going in December and it's unlikely we'll visit an island though we might hire a boat as I've got a license so could always stop on some nearby ones for a couple of hours.

Hey, sorry, yeah we had an awesome time. Had private tours of Plaka and the Acropolis, lots of drinking and eating, loved it. Only one day was drizzly, otherwise our day up on the acroplois was ~19.

If you're there on such a trip, do The Ritual (escape game). Man, it's intense.
