athlon 6000 stepping

just bought one off my mate and he says its very good steeping...

the stepping is CCB8F 0743BPMW

can any1 tell me where to look to see how good the stepping is???
IE how well will it overclock. im not expecting much anyway, but still...

I don't know but you should overclock and see instead of waiting for someone to have the same CPU and post. You'll save yourself some time.

You never said that in your first post now did you .

You should hopefully be able to hit about 3-3Ghz -3.4Ghz max but that's dependant on what cooler you're waiting on.

when i had a 6000 i got to 3.5ghz @1.45v stable using a Akasa AK-922 EVO Blue Cooler... maybe it could have done alittle more..

but it depends on the motherboard also..
