Hello got a new setup

Is a dfi infinity standard 939
a venice 3200+

i ran at stock no probs
then straght to 2500 stock voltage ran fine
straght to 2800 @1.45 volts, didnt even see if need less

ran prime stable

had a search around and this seems a good clock at the voltage, temps are low 30's

might as well go to 3gig?? or not be worth it

i noticed venice' are cracking overclockers, go to 3Ghz, run some benchmarks and see if it makes a difference, super-pi, 3D mark '06 and sisoftware sandra are decent indications of a performance increase i believe :)

i had a 3200 venice about 2 and a half yrs ago i think. it clocked to 3.4 with 1.6vcore, untill 2 weeks later when it fryed from too much voltage cause i tryed 3.6ghz at 1.65 vcore but it couldnt handle it :P

btw dont try 3ghz unless you have a good cooler, i only got 3.4 cause i had a zalman 12cm fan cooler cant remember which one and about 60x 8cm fans in my case, it sounded like a hellicopter. but the cooling was good

my 3700+ is stable at 2.8ghz now with 1.5 ish volts... Cpu-z isn't working for me  so i cant give an exact figure. I'm sure if i upped the voltage to 1.55 i could get to about 3ghz... but i'm going to wait for my watercooling for that

EDIT: i fixed it... I'm at 2784.6Mhz @ 1.456V
Bus speed : 249.9
HT Link : 999.5
