Simple question...

if I'm buying that processor, how fast should the RAM be?
I've seen specs saying 800MHz, 1000MHz, 2000Mhz... so.... which is it??

TIA!

AM2 boards will only support the max ram of 1066 DDR2 (only some motherboards with a bios update).

Eitha DDR2-800 or DDR2-1066.

Thanks for your reply Andrew... but which one is it... 800 or 1066?

1066 sticks are almost double the price of 800, and I don't want to pay double if I don't have to!

Thanks guys :)

One more thing that i forgot... I'm looking at this CPU cooler for the processor:

Akasa AK-920-2 EVO 120 v2

It looks like it will probably cut the mustard for this chip but I can't be sure as there is no CPU rating given, only socket types.

Can anyone confirm this cooler will be ok for the Athlon X2 6000+?
