Hi all,

Currently have a 4400+ installed into a Shuttle, but am itching to get a bigger system again as upgrades are a real pain.

Planning on keeping the Shuttle and buying a new box based on a Conroe, either E6600 or possibly E6700.

How is performance likely to compare against the Athlon? Obviously don't want to "downgrade" :p

Since posting, I spotted the Toms hardware link in a topic further down the page in which you can compare processors.

The Conroe kicks it's butt big time! :D
