Hello,
I have recently aquired a xthlon xp 2400+ but my motherboard, an Aopen AK77 600GN, only recognises it as a xp1800+ at a measly 1.5ghz.
Wots going on? I have just updated the BIOS to the latest version (1.08) but it didn't fix anything.
The FSB is running at 100mhz, and I've been told it should be at 133mhz for my cpu to run at the right speed. My motherboard supports up to a 400mhz fsb, but I only have the option to overclock it to 129mhz. And that won't work because it doesn't lock the AGP bus.
So what's wrong? What should I do? Please help!!
