Idle clocks were sky high if you overclocked

when i got my 5850 10.6 ran everything bad like 5 fps on gta 4. but now im on 10.4 and everything is fine.

for somr reason i get artifacts on the snowblind level on bad company 2 and one of the levels near the end. not sure if i got them in the previous driver but ill check it when the 10.7 is released.

i suppose they are more like large black pixles than artifacts.

Still on 10.4a drivers here, albeit with the latest CrossfireX profiles.

Asus 5770 Crossfire, 10.4a seem the only decent drivers IMO.

Are you running crossfire? If so, reduce your AA to 2x.

I get the same issue on my 4870X2 if I use more than 2x AA.

Hopefully this'll finally get fixed in the next driver release
