Just updated drivers from previous version to the 10.9 full catalyst software suite for win 7 64 bit.

Installed fine, but after restart it pops up catalyst control center has stopped working. Try opening it manually and same message.

Tried uninstall and re-download, re-install. Same problem.

Any ideas?

Make sure you'v also installed the .net framework, asthe CCC needs it to run.

Alternatively, you could just install the display driver and the applications profiles without the CCC as I do.

I prefer, to keep things simple.

After checking whether you still have .net installed, head back on to 10.8 and see if it still works ok. If so then it's a problem with 10.9, if not then there's something deeper.

I would have thought if 10.8 worked fine and this would have also needed the .net framework, then this should be there for 10.9 already?

I've just updated aswell and having problems with 'Windows Aero' or something, seems like a shoddy upgrade -_-

After changing gpu drivers you have to re run the windows 7 evaluation system thing ... inorder for it to turn aero back on.

I think right clicking on my computer and chooseing properties, will get you to the correct screen.

Cheers for that, would never have thought of it! Will give it a whirl this evening :)

I had to go back to 10.7 as this really bugged my 4870x2...first of all were the artifacts in MW2 and DOD and then after I installed the hotfix it refused to boot.

After several hours clearing CMOS and unistalling. restore point saved the day.

Garbage driver set for me...but best of luck.

Im running a 5870 and the 10.9 drivers are fine....

In recent months only one set of drivers gave me problems.

10.6 broke bfbc2 on my 3870x2...

But single card owners should generally have zero difficulties with any drives....

Defo no bsod's.

If one is getting bsod when installing drivers or playing games, then they need to look else where for the problem!

Did you apply the application profiles?
