ATI 1900 tearing.

Desktop temp is around 54c. When I play a game it takes maybe 5 minutes to reach 75 - 80 and the tearing starts.
This causes the card to restart or more often it locks up and I have to reboot.
My last card was a 9700 Pro which also started tearing until it developed a power problem.

Will that fix it ? or should i just buy an nvidia 8800 GTS for <£200.

Clean and reseat the cooler with AS5.

5C drop at load (62/63 ---> 57/58) and 2C (30-32 ---> 28-30) drop at Idle, although I do have the IceQ version.
