ATi 1950xt-x clock speeds wrong!!!

Are these cards supposed to be so hot (80c) full load?

I know its silent but I'm worried it'll soon be dead if it carries on @ that temp.

Nah thats about normal, x1900's can get as high as 80+ underload.

My x1800 XT gets up to about 77-78 when playing FarCry.

If thats the 7950 GX2 your on about, then it would make no difference, as those run really hot.

CCC shows 3D clocks.

Sorry for the bump but I've been away for a few days with no internet accesss until now, and I wanted to point this out - the 2D/3D clock speeds shown in my pic of CCC are fake (and not a good one at that), I made the mock pic in about 2 mins using M$ paint. Although it would make it a lot easier for certain people if it CCC did display the 2D/3D clocks like that.

Yes, but the CCC still does show the 3D speeds, the requested at the top of the sliders are the 3D speeds.

LOL. True, but soooo many people don't realise this hence the tired old raggedy damn thread title "my x1900 is running to slow - I been rippped!"

It would be a lot easier for them, erm *cough *nubs* to be able to physically see "2D/3D" rather than "current/requested". IMO it would cut down on a lot of these X1 series 2D/3D threads that seem to pop up on a daily basis, but thats just my opinion, so meh.

I downloaded that, ITS RUBBISH.


First of all it wouldn't let me set the Screen resolution to 1280 X 1024.


Then when i cranked all the settings to max it took ten minutes to load half the game, so i exited.

Pain in the rear !!

Interesting,
found it a pleasant surprise after the suspect beta...........still no default widescreen res, but 1600x1200 with 4AA runs pretty good.
