Hi, Just a quick question, would this graphics card be fine for an HTPC. Want to hook it up to a 43" Plasma screen for HD playback... and perhaps the odd light gaming in something like Source?

I'm thinking along the lines of this one:

For the price there good cards!
Got one in my htpc, it quite happily plays light games with a res of 1280x1024. My wife is enjoying Dreamfall on it at the moment.
Only got it hooked upto a 17" monitor but handles HD films easily (rest of the spec is x2 3800 and 1gb ram)
I doubt buying a 512mb version (if there is one) would make any real difference to a htpc.

Well OK... maybe not Source, but it will be hooking up the following:

Pioneer PDP-435XDE

It has a resolution of only 1024x768, and I will be connecting it using an HDMI to DVI cable...

So I assume this would be fine? Also planning on matching it with 2GB RAM and a E2180 (1MB L2, 2.0GHz)... to play some HD videos/DivX... etc... Have I made the right choice?
