Hi

I thinking about going crossfire with 2 ATI 2900's

I have a OCZ stealthxstreme 600w psu , would i be needing a higher watt psu for these ?

My current spec is :

C2D 6320 oc'd to 3.4 ghz
ASUS P5K-E Wifi
2GB Geil 6400 ULL
ASUS 8800GTS 320mb
1 x Barracudo 200gb PATA
1 x Caviar 500gb SATA

hounestly i would say forget crossfire and if you really whant top performance save the money sell the exsisting 2900 in a couple months and go top end g90 (gf9800)
unless you really dont like nvidia in that case id say your psu would be a little stretched as the 2900 is notoriously hungry for watts so 2 would be just plane greedy lol! i think people recomend 750w minimum? someone jump in if im wrong though.

well the more power the better i say but an 800w psu by tagan powers my setup, but i recommend getting the 1gb version of the 2900 i have it and its sooooo good, and forget crossfire its not really any good its not twice as much power only a fourth maybe more is used from the second card so its not worth it, just get the 1gig 2900 as ive had the 8800 gtx xxx version from xfx and i preferred the 1gig 2900. here
