ati 3870x2 can i get eyefinity?

hi guys

I have a 3870x2 in my rig from long time ago now i like the look of gaming over 2 or 3 screens at the moment i only have 2 screens but was wondering if i can use eyefinity or something so i can game over more then one screen?

i have googled but dident find much so any help would be nice.

and would i uses xfire to still use my old one 2 add an extra 1gb of gfx memory or will i just need to take it out?

Depends on the game. In most, yes you'd need a 5000 series card. Some, like Supreme Commander, FSX and X3 (i think) support multi-monitor setups, just not in the stretched uber-screen setup of eyefinity.

ok thanks so i will look in to an hd5xxx would i use this in line with my old card or would i replace it?

You'll need that adaptor unless one of your monitors has a displayport connection
