ATI 4350 With Sims 3

Hi can someone tell me if the following graphics card would work with sims 3 or would i need something more powerful....

You would be able to run the Sims 3 with that graphics card, but don't expect to be able to crank anything up to max. It'll work on very low settings I'd have said, but it should work all the same.

i would go depends on resolution and budget:

ok what would you reccomend then.. i have a budget of around 80-100pounds and will mostly be watching hd movies but will be playing the odd game like sims 3 and football manager...

believe it or not the sims 3 can be played on a radeon x600

its a bit jerky but you can get medium settings out of it at 1024-768 so i think your card would be fine for it

with that budget why not get 4850 for 78£ inc vat and enjoy your sims 3 at full settings ? and other games. also it should last you for a good while i guess

ok i havent bought the card yet as i was just checking if it would be ok... but looks like i will go ahead and order it then

I run it with everything on high - 1360x768 windowed mode and it's fine with a GTX280 and Q6600. A bit jerky sometimes.

I know some one who knows this bloke down the pub who owns a horse who heard from the stable boy at the stables his horse is at that his mate plays the Sims 3 on his laptop at 1360 x 768 using a HD 3650 and runs fine. He isn't sure on the settings though, he has forgotten them.

at those resolutions 4670 should be more then enough. should handle even 8 aa 16 af , i thought hes using 1920x1080

ok should be ok then, but was also looking for a gpu that would work with a few more demanding games also...

Get a GeForce 9600. Sure it's last gen but mine runs it fine on an 8800GT, everything max at 1680x1050 and it's basically the same card.
Also plays more demanding games fine.
