It's never going to be that low. They have to price it at around £85 because of the 4670 costing between £58 and £82 depending on which one you buy. I can see where they are coming from because they have nothing between £82 and £110 apart from a 3870.
Eh, graphics vendors are usually a bit reckless in regards to releasing new products that clash with the AIBs' overpriced variants.

A poor student like me likes the idea of it being at under 150 dollars, which sounds like 80 pounds or so...
well if its 150 $ or less its a nice card.
Taking into consideration that I paid £120 for my 3870. Which was earlier this year, spring time or so...

i worked it out using todays exchange rate if it were $150 that would equate to £96 here including vat
they mention $150 or less for it to worth while it needs to be around $120 US to make it approx £75 here otherwise most of us will just add the extra £20 or so and get a 4850
the cheapest 9800gt on OCuk at present is this

with those prices id go for the 4850 its only an extra £20 more than the 9800gt and if the 4830 comes out at £96 again its less than £20 more for the 4850 again
so again the 4850 looks better

But for two 4830s it'd then be nearly £40 cheaper than two 4850s, which is a reasonable discount for a monster Crossfire setup.
