Hey guys,

well since a few driver updates ago I've been having problems with the grpahics on my computer. Everytime I play a 3D game i get a weird graphical glitch where the screen seems to flicker and repeat part of the on screen image.

I used to be able to solve this by going into the catalyst control panel and switching of the Catalyst AI but that no longer seems to work since the newest driver update.

Does anyone have this issue as well? And is there anyway I can sort this out? Would really like to play some BF:BC2 but it's just unplayable atm.

Turning off Catalyst AI turns off your crossfire on the card making the card run in single GPU mode so it's possible one of you're GPUs are faulty.. :( sadly, But lets hope im wrong and some one knows a fix!.

Did you try reinstalling something like 9.6-7 Drivers ?

I think my 4870x2 is on its way out the fan Goans often and its only 8 months old im replacing mine tho second 6870 is out having said all that i'm tempted to WC my system so i'll wc the x2 as well.

My point is we shouldn't have to replace this kind of card after only a few years or months. they don't make them like they used 2. I still use a asus 6800 32mb from over ten years ago and it was state of the art then even came with electric 3d glasses and thats still going strong. I boght a agp 3850 last january for my wifes pc and that packed up 2 months ago.

If im honest i never had a ATI chip die on me only Nvidia i've had like 3-4 and i've owned more ATI products my 9700 pro even survived with a broken Fan.. :) ended up with Zalman heatpipe on that it were sweet.
