The only reason for me to go from a 4870x2 to a 5870 is for DX11 and that's not enough of a reason for me. I'm still getting good performance in all the games I play and haven't seen a game where DX11 really makes that much of a diff. Don't get me wrong, I'm looking for excuses to upgrade but also want to get the most out of my current card.

look for any game or demo that uses tesselation for objects or physics and you will see the difference
