So guys i bought one this week from OCUK and read on the site it has built in hdmi.

Now forgive me for this but all i see is two DVI and one s-video on the back.I think it is s-video but not 100%.

Also the bundle only came with 2 4pin to pci-e 6 pin power adapters.

There was nothing else in the box.No ati dongle and no dvi>hdmi cables either!

Im a little miffed as i really wanted those so can i complain to ocuk and ask for a dongle for the 4890 series?

hi

there should have been a dvi/hdmi convertor like the 4870 series, i would get in touch with ocuk and ask for replacement convertor..

math

Hey Rofflay,

which manufacturer made your card?

As far as I know it's just the Sapphire HD4890 Vapor-X model that has standard onboard HDMI, there may be others but I didn't see them yet myself? regardless you should have a DVI-HDMI dongle in the box so give OcUL a quick webnote or call and they will send you one.

Rofflay

check out the thread at the top.

im actually trying to get all the bits from OCUK aswell,

all i got with my cards was 2x 6 pin power adapters that was it

the stuff missing in my 2 boxes where

2x Xfire Bridges
2x dvi - dsub adapter

OVERCLOCKERS HAVE MADE A MISTAKE:

just looked at the box under the box and it says

HD 4890 850m 1GB DDR5 Dual DVI TV PCI-E LITE

looks to me like we didnt get retail units and got OEMs intead.
when i bought this card i wasnt expecting OEM i was expecting RETAIL

there is a white label at the bottom of the box *LITE EDITION*
we got dupped by OCUK cause they didnt spesify this card as being OEM LITE

Hey ViRuS2k,

Sapphire have always had two SKU's for their cards, Full-Retail and Lite-Retail, the review samples are nearly always full units! :)

The unit you received is a Retail, it's just a Lite retail! :D

If something isn't to your satisfaction, send it back! ;)

If something isnt to my satisfaction ? LOL
Sounds like it was my fault or something lol

OCUK should have said that they where selling off XFX RETAIL LITE VERSIONS, instead they made us all beleave we where getting FULL RETAILS

no where in there shop does it say LITE VERSION!

i want something done about this mockery

i thought i was getting a good deal on this week only and now i know why they where much cheaper sneaky buisness imho

The box does say lite but guys thats not where the problem lies.

XFX website states like 5 4890 bundles and all have games except one bundle which is the one ocuk sold all of us.

The code on the box can be matched to the XFX site to see what card and package you should have.Even the basic bundle without games included ALL cables though so ocuk owe us all cables.

Now the real problem is on the ocuk site. under the card we all bought ocuk linked the wrong product code to the xfx site. The codes are wrong and according to the ocuk site the bundle they advertise is the bundle that does include the game HAWX.

When i bought the card i checked this before i bought and had fully expected this to not be a mistake and to get my cables and game.

Now i have paid the postage and very much expect cables and game in the post swiftly.

I have screenshots of the ocuk and xfx site and my order history links me to the bundle i bought with the wrong product code.your fault ocuk not ours!

oh and ps ocuk do not offer the forum shipping to non uk mainland members which basically means we northern irish are discriminated against!!
