ATI 4890 noob questions

Guys,

Don't have time to surf anymore (wasted 2hrs already):

i) I get 7,566 on Vantage (performance) with a 4890 (stock) and E6750 (stock), $Gb, Vista 64 - this seems low - is the score about right?

ii) What are the "slots" on the other side of the card for? The main slot connects into the PCI-express, but there are 2 small ones on the other side :confused:

Not sure about Vantage score since I still use XP Pro.

The other two slots are for crossfire mode to connect to another card. If your motherboard supports crossfire (not all do) then you can buy another 4890 and get upto twice the GPU power.
