I saw that everyone got a hotfix for 5 series cards for slow loading times in BFBC2 and it was said that the 4 series were getting it this week, has it come out?

i'm with Sukh on this one, can't wait to get this working...tuesday is clan night - be great to get it sorted by then

Prolly just be released to be countered by

MP – Added 15 second spawn timer for Conquest/Rush gamemodes at the start of round to prevent high end machines getting the upper hand before other machines load in.

Try DX9 for now.

I have a 4870X2, and DX9 is a massive improvement in load speeds.. you just have to put up with flickering/dodgy textures until ATI sort out the DX10 load times :/

How do you use the DX9 mode then?

Is there a big difference in the graphical quality?
 
You edit your gamesettings.ini

Where it says DX = Auto you change it to 10 or 9 or whatever you want.

Any news on the hot fix anyone?
