I replaced my Radeon 3870 with a Radeon 5750 today, and Windows and Ubuntu are like a slideshow. Windows Aero works and Crysis works, but Crysis is literally 1-2fps at low settings. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? I've tried reinstalling drivers etc.

Phenom II 550BE
Gigabyte MA790X-UD4P
Cruical 2x2GB
ASUS EAX5750 Formula 1GB

Thanks for any help :)

Catalyst 10.8 mate. I tried to remove them and got a bluescreen. Reinstalled my 3870 and the 10.8s and everything is peachy...

I'm going to do a clean Windows install, and install Windows from the start with the card in. I would have thought if it's duff though 3D would have artifacts, but it doesn't, it's just really slow?

Maybe but is artifacts the only sign of a duff card? That's why I suggested you try it out in another system to see if it works.

Clean install of windows 7 x64, after installing the graphics driver and a reboot, once it's into windows the screen goes blank and the monitor loses the signal. This P.O.S is going back.

One too many failures from ASUS now, never buying them again.

How ironic when you come out with that this gets reported. - Link

And when was the last time you phoned up RescueCom when your card failed?

Likely to be very skewed.

Also, since Gigabyte, MSI etc aren't in that list, and ASUS is the ONLY graphics card maker there, I'd say it's a highly irrelevant link.
