ATI 5750 to XFX ATI 6870 Black upgrade?

Hi i was thinking of getting a new card in time for BF3 game and was wondering if the ATI XFX black 6870 card would be a decent step up from the ATI 5750 card i have at the moment? iam looking to play BF3 in high settings etc. I play bad company 2 with all settings maxed 30 frames per second 60 on medium settings but if i upgrade for BF3 will it be worth it or not? I also only have 450 watts power supply so i would have to upgrade that to 600W OCZ ModXStream Pro Modular Power Supply or will i be ok with the one i have now not sure on the make of it but got my pc from pc specialist.co.uk so would have thought it a decent make etc

Amd quad core 965 cpu 3.4ghz
4gb ddr3
xfi sound card
just the 1 pci express port on my motherboard etc
1 dvd drive
1 firewire card so my video camera can connect etc

Honest answer is nobody knows what will be able to play BF3 at highest settings right now, too early to predict. I think you should wait closer to the time and let the 5750 run it's course until then.

The card will be a good step up but regarding BF3 I think nayan89 has hit the nail and you should wait if that is what you want to play.
