ATI 5750

Can anybody tell me if my Corsair CX 400W PSU will run that card. I know the card says 450W, but I have heard that sometimes they will run.

It will be fine, provided you're not running a crazy amount of HDs or a crazy OC'd CPU

The last time I measured, my system barely pulled over 270 watts from the plug! (was before I added a 5770)

Even with an i7 at 4ghz he will be fine and a few hds.(hds only draw about 5 watts each.)

That's some slow CPU! Unless you mean ghz
It'll be fine, Corsair is a good brand, it'll cope with the 5750 just fine, even with a 5770.
