right i have an xfx xxx 5770 and going to get a 3d monitor prob with the iz3d drivers has anyone any info they could share on this am i in for an easy time and is card up to the job.

I don't think a 5770 would be up to the job, but then it depends what job you're giving it.
 
according to xfx website 5770 will do 3d gaming , convert video to 3d and photos but not blueray 3d .
so i will do the gaming and video and if i like it and want blueray 3d then i will upgrade to 6870.
