I am looking at going for a 5770 1GB crossfire setup at the end of the month but I was just curious if anyone ran it with 2 or more monitors?
Currently I have 3 screens, 2 running from a 4870 and one running from a 2400pro.
This seems to work fairly well and I can run 3D apps on each screen etc. Basically, if I want to run 3 or 4 monitors do I have to effectively run the cards separately as single cards or can I still run them in crossfire mode and still run the 3 monitors with the combined power of the two cards?
Cheers for any help.

You can run 3 monitors from just 1 card thanks to Eyefinity technology but you MUST use the Display port out so you may or may not need an adaptor (Display port to VGA is a cheap way of doing this). If you want to run 4 or more monitors I would have thought that wouldn’t be a problem since Eyefinity can support up to 6 screens (with the appropriate card).

Agreed, you can run 3 monitors from Xfired cards. Correct me if i'm wrong, but you'd need one of the 'eyefinity 6' cards for more than 3?

I have 3 monitors on my 5870,2 connected by DVI and 1 connected by a Sapphire active Displayport to VGA adapter. Works pretty well :)

With crossfire 5770's you connect all the monitors to one card (like none 5xxx cards) so the max would be 3. You do need the eyefinity 6 card to have more than 3 I believe.
