Ati 5770 which program to test?

Hi,

My Ati Sapphire Vapor-X 5770 is causing me a few problems. Im not sure if its faulty but if i pause FSX and come back to it after a fwe minutes it just throws up a screen of dots. Also sometimes apps are crashing and then the mouse pointer has like a halo over it with some black square?

Which program do OCUK use to test graphics cards? I dont want to take it back tomorrow and wait for ages for it to come back as ok when i can determine if it is faulty here?

the latest 10.2

I have tried reinstalling the driver and its made no difference. It isnt all the time it does it but out of the last 2 days i have had fsx crash 6 times and 3 of them due to the screen of dots

lol , erm no , when i installed my windows 7 and put the driver off the disc that came with the card it was version 9.summit and the windows socre it came back was only 6.something. I updated to 10.2 and got 7.6 on the windows score. So there is obviously some improvement in performance.

Also im sure when i looked at the driver details of the 9.summit it said directx9?
 
Well it's best to try a variety of drivers really. If you're encountering problems. Plus I would stick to one overclocking utility.

Ive reformatted my system as i wanted a fresh install and installed the 10.1 ati drivers that come on the disc , and not updated to the 10.2 and my windows score is only 6 and 6

It was 7.4 and 7.4 before with the 10.2?

Why is that??
