Get my new system delivered today from OcUK and power it up and everything seems great apart from no signal reaching my monitor!! Everything "appears" to power up as it should there is simply no output to the monitor. I have re-seated the card and the RAM but no change. Finally stick in my current ATi 4850 and everything works perfectly.

Have i missed anything obvious before i get onto OcUK and chew their faces off for not testing this rig before they sent it??

any leds on the card lit up after boot?
is the fan spinning on the card?
monitor connected to correct video output?
all power connections pluuged into card?

Sounds like not enough power.

Either the graphics card isnt connected or the psu isnt able to provide enough voltage.

Had a similar problem when I got my GTX280 last year. Discovered I could get an output using a VGA adaptor. Had me confused as hell, till I discovered one bent pin on my DVI cable. Using a screw driver I Was able to straighten it back up and all working fine.

Assuming are using the same cables for both cards this won't be the problem, but if you have a VGA cable see if this makes any difference.

Another problem I had was that the Power connection splitter that came with the card was duff. I borrowed a friends and it worked perfect. Too make things more confusing my 'apparently' broken splitter worked in his machine. Definitely not an installation issue as I fiddled with this thing for days.

Sorry for bumping old threads but did you ever get this sorted? I'm having the same issues right now.
