Just a quick question, would this card bottleneck with a Q6700 @ 3.3ghz? Max resolution would be 1680*1050.

Any other alternatives with same performance if this one would bottleneck?

Thanks in advance.

Should not be much of a bottleneck if any..

I use a Q9650 and a 5870 and have the Q9650 at 4Ghz and 3Ghz and to be honest the difference on most games is 5 frames more.. So the sweet spot for a 5870 is a quad running at 3Ghz.. Also any game that is cpu limited will always be slower no matter what graphics card you have. So enjoy the 5870 without worrying about that, it's a great card and you will notice the improvements over your GTX 275.

You're welcome, Only time I set my CPU to 4Ghz now is for FSX (microsoft flight simulator it's very CPU hungry), All other games I just leave it at stock 3Ghz and enjoyed the games at full settings with the 5870. Crysis is only one I knock the settings down on and as we all know that game is just well silly on system specs at the extreme settings but still playable.
