Hi forum,

I bought my card from OC the first week of may 2010 but cannot see the order on the website is this a common problem as how do I prove that I bought it from OC as I cannot find my invoice either?

Any Ideas

Erm, graphics cards usually only get a 1 year warranty on them unless stated otherwise when you are buying them.

If you are looking for an RMA then I'm not sure you will be able too.

Contact OCUK by ringing them up and asking, they will have everything on a database or in their sales records. They have to keep them for a few years by law anyways, so they will be able to help you.

Give them a ring on Monday on 0871 200 5053.

Simply put, you can't for 100% certain (easily)

You can try contacting your bank and getting the statement for that month. The SOGA states that this should be enough

What's his bank statement/credit card receipt going to show?

Only that he spent £x at OcUK on a certain date.

It's worth a try but unless OcUK have the records to tie that purchase to a particular order it gets the OP nowhere.

if you have the original box, they can track if from the stickers on it.... They have done this for me before with some RAM that went faulty.

Also if you know the date you brought it, give them a call and see if they have a record of it.... again they have tied this for me before (although failed to find my order as i wasn't as accurate on the dates as you are)

Apparently that's enough :)

Ofcourse, he can't prove anything
