I have a 3.2ghz i7 with 12GB of DDR3. My GFX card is an ageing ATI 6800.

I fancy an uprade as recently got Project Cars and it runs like a dog...

I play at 1920x1200 on my 28" monitor on Win 7 64 bit.

Is there anything at the £150 mark worth upgrading to So I can run that game (and others) at fairly high setting with AA/AF?

Cheers. Looks to be a very demanding game.

Not bought a card for a few years now. Looks like £150 still puts you in the midfield for performance.

Indeed, it's the so-called sweet spot between price/performance levels manufactures try to aim for

Think I paid about that for my 6600GT back in the day..

In the members market £150 or less will get you a R9 290 or GTX 780. That's where I would be looking with your budget. What make and model psu do you have?

OP did specify wanting to play Project Cars with the new card, both of those are slower in that game.
