Can these two things word together?

Apparently i can no longer play Need for Speed: Shift 2 with my Logitech G25 wheel as the Physx driver has been removed (done as part of the driver cleanup when changing from my nVidea 9800GTX to ATI 6990)

Any way of getting this working again? I've gone to the nVidea website and the Physx download info says it only support their GPU's...

Help!

Phsyx installer should be on game disc or in setup files somewhere if its required.

I have Shift 2 via steam, and it doesn't want to launch it :(

Supported Products:

GeForce 500-series, 400-series, 300-series, 200-series, 100-series, 9-series, and 8-series GPUs (with minimum of 32 cores and a minimum of 256MB dedicated graphics memory)

... are you saying it works with ATI 69x cards also?

Physx doesnt work with ATI(not at least with out some hard work)
But this is just system software so yes it can be "Installed" in any PC.
I have it in mine with HD6950 running Batman AC
