If you want to get a performance boost, overclock your cpu, should hit 3.8Ghz no trouble, might even be lucky and get 4Ghz+ out of that 750
 
it was the slot that was causing me a worry, once i sorted out the memory problem i developed, ordered 8 gigs of ddr3 corsair to replace my faulty gskill!
If it will support the new gpus then i will most likely wait for the mid range cards.
I am now looking at ocing the cpu as i have found the memory problems i was having, so now maybe the oc will happen.
