ATi 9600XT Fan

I have a ATi 9600XT 256MB. I find it a good card it does what I want it to do. But what i really wanna know is - Is the Fan meant to be that loud? I sware to god its louder than my case fans. Has anyone got the same card, and have they got the same problem?

I had a 9600pro.. but that was passivly cooled somehow...

As for the fan.. it could be on its way out if its that loud :/

Maybe look into an artic cooler?

get the artic cooler for your card i did, it is virtually silent and keeps the card much cooler. it also sucks the warm air out your case too.
