Is there much difference between the AA modes in catalyst? What should I have it set to for gaming?

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Avoid wide tent and narrow tent as they will make the IQ worst. Stick to box and edge detect. Box is the standard AA and edge is more demanding but can go higher than box. You can also use adaptive AA which again can be very demanding.
My favourite combo is edge detect x24 with adaptive AA.
As for which is best for games that all depends on which game you are using. Some games just don't play ball with edge and adaptive, its just a matter of trying it out. All games will work perfectly with box AA.
