Ati\Amd turns down evga

Don't blame AMD tbh. Why should they jeopardise their relationship with those OEMs who've stuck by them through the "hard times" just because EVGA, who obviously weren't interested in selling ATI cards back then, now want a slice of the pie because they're back in the game again?

I guess AMD doesn't want to risk slapping the rest of their partners on the face by bringing EVGA on board. They should have dropped PowerColour and picked up EVGA though.

It's a lot easier said than done. Powercolour are very popular with their relatively cheaply priced cards while offering oced one for not much more. EVGA on the other hand always have a premium on their cards.

I agree

I can see why they done it, but still would be nice to have EVGAs service, warranty and step up program as an option on AMD as none of current ATIs partners really inspire confidence.

I think its only BFG outside the USA that offers step up, all the other companies dont, but still I agree, Ati shouldnt let them on board as it would punish the companies that have always sold their cards through the hard times.
