Hello
Im about to get a new computer and I'm looking at different graphic card options. I've noticed that the new cards from ATI and nVidia doesn't have any linux drivers available. So my question is how quick is ATI vs nVidia with releasing drivers for linux?
I currently have an old Dell laptop (4 years old now) with a radeon 9600 pro mobility in it and from my experience it took ATI a couple of years to release a somewhat good drivers for linux. I don't know about nVidia though.
I'm leaning towards getting a 9800gx2. Obviosly I'll be running vista 64 as well.
Thanks
Karl
