I have been using the component out on my Saphire X1900XT as an extended desktop using a 28" JVC widescreen, but today encountered a problem.
Usually to enable this function all I have to do is connect the component jacks to the adaptor and plug that in to the avivo port and then enable the monitor in the CCC.
However I am unable to do this now, the display wont enable in the CCC. I tried to reinstall the drivers but this didn't make a difference so I installed ati tray tools and manually enabled the output. The tv came on but displaying a purple washed out image.
I restarted the computer and discovered that the tv works fine with the monitor disconnected. But won't work with the two connected. This is also true during boot up before windows loads so it appears that it may be a problem with the video card, is there something I may have missed?
