ATI being rebranded :<

What's the problem? It's just a name change? Changing it from ATI to AMD won't reduce the cards performance... =\
 
Makes zero difference. When people say what kind of Gfx card they have, they very rarely say ATI, they leave that part out anyway.
 
It was always gonna happen AMD bought ATI years ago, Doesnt bother me in the slightest , will still sway to buying ATI/AMD over nvidia any day
 
Since 2003 I've only bought ATI cards, so I'll be a little sad to see the brand go, but it was always going to happen.

On the other hand, seeing as I am a tiresome AMD flag waver, the uniting of CPU and GPU under one brand means I'll be in fanboy heaven now. :D:o
 
I don't think it really matters and as mentioned previously in this thread, ATI have been owned by AMD for years. My 5850 has AMD written all over it anyway, so I don't see why it really matters, especially when it's stashed away inside your PC.
