I have a 9800 pro.
I use the DVI cable to the TV, and the standard VGa to my monitor.

If I have the TV switched off it seems that the PC stops the signal to the TV.
And only way I know how is to either disable then enable the output on the catalyst control center or change the resolution and change it back.

I've been playing with hotkey options but so far I can' find anything.

If the TV is off whats the issue?

Or do you mean there is still no signal even after you switch the tv on again?

tbh i never used a tv with my 9800 pro - but it might be because the DVI defaults to primary display?

yeah sorry, when i switch it back on there is still no signal.

If I rotate the display, change the resolution, disable then enable it switches the signal back on and the TV shows the display.
