Hi guys does anyone know the length of the x1900 series cards? , i`m updating a PC for a mate,he`s currently using the x850xt, is the x1900 series a lot longer?.I don`t want to oreder it from ocuk, then discover it`s too big to fit.

x1k series is much longer than the x8 series, the x1k series are are about the width of the motherboard, i used to have an x800 XT PE here and it was nowhere near the length of my x1800 XT.

Heres a pic of the x850 XT here

As you can see by the PCI-E connector, the x1900's are much longer.

Damn! , looks like he`s stuffed then, there`s only about an inch between the back edge of his x850 and the power connector to his Mobo. From what i can see in the pictures on ocuk, the only one that looks about the same length as his x850 is the x1650 ,suppose it would be a step up for him though. Is it just me,or does this one look about the same length as his 850 ?

Yeah they are about the same length as the x850's, but id go for the x1650 XT as its on par with the 7600 GT (or go for that), wether that would be much of boost in performance from the x850 i don't know, should be a boost as the 7600 GT is faster than the 6800 Ultra, but how much i can't say as the x850 XT is a pretty good card. :)
