if so any probs?

I cant make mind up wether to go ati chipset mobo with ati card or nforce chipset mobo with ati card, there have been reported issues mixing them and i would appreciate any feedback
thankyou very much

Ive never heard of any issues, or had any when using ATi cards with Nforce chipsets, they work perfectly fine, ive used Nforce2/3, and both worked flawlessley. :)

ive had major problems matey, steer clear. I just got myself a nf4 mobo and spanking new x1900xtx and i try and boot and it comes up with a blue screen saying 'omg rofl you sucker bought an ati card' so looks like ill have to send it back :(

Lol only kidding, no probs what so ever.

Now if the title had been "NF4 SATA/IDE drivers and Windows XP, whos using one" i would have had somthing to post, but as its not i havent

There's not going to be any problems with running a single ATi card with the Nvidia chipset really, i'm quite sure Nvidia have made sure that there's no issues, otherwise they'd loose major sales because of people with ATi cards who couldn't use the Nvidia chipset :)

I'm running an NF4 DFI Ultra-D with an ATi X1800 XT by the way, and i've encountered no problems :)

Yep, X1900XT and DFI Sli-DR here and all is good, better than the nVidia card I had LOL

Ultra D here with an X1900XT with no problems

To be honest you shouldnt get any problems either way, unless you want to get a crossfire board (and two gfx cards) which are getting better, but arent completely upto scratch yet imo
